Guardian minister Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil on Friday slammed Amravati Municipal Corporation for pathetic condition.
Guardian minister Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil was in the city to attend the meeting of District Planning and Development Committee on Friday here. When reporters asked Patil about bad roads, he said it’s Amravati Municipal Corporation’s responsibility to maintain roads it being a self-governed body.

As all the general public knows Amravati is historical city for religious and other points of view as there is big ambadevi temple from where Rukmini was kidnapped by lord Shrikrishna which facts ismentioned in our religious books like Mahabharat and Bhagwat so also there were many eminent leader and social workers like Dadasaheb Khaparde, Ambadas Pant Vaidya, Veer Vamanrao Joshi etc who had done major social and historical work for Amravati city. Not only this, the present president of India, Hon’ble Shrimati Pratibhatai Patil is also belongs to Amravati.
Second time in recent months when MLA Ravi Rana has faced a police complaint.
The deputy saranch of Borgoan (Dharmale) village has lodged a police complaint against MLA Ravi Rana, at Nandgaon Peth police station, alleging that the legislator thrashed him.
